We are seeking an individual to lead our Workplace Technology practice and be at the vanguard of ensuring that our client's challenges are understood and the relevant technologies are being considered and applied. This is a senior level role that requires practice leadership, business development and client delivery. Candidates will be passionate about the application of technology and will have a depth of knowledge in certain technology domains, combined with a breadth of wider understanding and an innate curiosity of emerging technologies and their practical applications. Our consultants are responsible for providing professional services to PTS' clients throughout the strategic, procurement and implementation stages of projects. The Workplace Technology Practice Lead will be responsible for: Assisting the UK Management Team with overall strategy and market direction for the practiceProviding technology and strategy updates to the professional services teamAssisting with sales proposals and presentationsDefining the business needs of clients within multiple industry sectors (finance, professional services, insurance, education, local and central government)Formulating the business needs and technology requirements of organisations into written strategiesPresenting and justifying the strategy to both technical and non-technical client teams and CX level managementLeading and managing a team of consultants across multiple technology disciplinesManaging and defining processes for competitive procurement including: Developing specifications and writing ITTs and RFPsEvaluating and analysing responsesVendor management Establishing and refining processes for the implementation of technologies and services In addition to delivery responsibilities, the Workplace Technologies Practice Lead is expected to: Have strong leadership and organisational skillsHave good interpersonal skillsBe able to command and empathise with both internal and client teamsManage multiple simultaneous assignments and clientsAs required, spend a significant amount of time on client sites in geographically dispersed locationsBe at the forefront of technology through a continuous program of self-development Characteristics & Skills Experienced and eager to engage with both the PTS team and its clientsA self-motivated individual that can work both in isolation and in a team as necessary with effective time managementAsserts ownership of projects/tasks to ensure completion within the applied constraintsTo understand various technologies and its application to achieve business benefitAble to communicate complex issues simply and within the business context, either orally or writtenCan demonstrate subject matter expertise in one or more technology domains both internally and externallyAble to compile reports and project documentation to a high standardCan interface as a peer with client staff at all levels for requirements gatheringCan develop and present ideas, findings, and reports to senior level client staff (CX level)Not afraid to attempt new work outside of their normal "comfort-zone" Technical Skills Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the following areas with comprehensive knowledge of some of them: Unified Communications and CollaborationAV and MultimediaEnterprise application of Artificial IntelligenceData Networking; Wired and WirelessPractical application of IoT (Internet of Things)Cyber SecurityEnd User Compute technologiesBig Data analytics and data algorithmsAugmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality PTS is an Equal Opportunities employer and applicants are selected solely on the basis of their relevant aptitudes, skills and abilities.
