An opportunity as arisen in our busy warehouse in Keynsham for a Warehouse Operative reporting into our Logistics Manager. This is very much a hands-on role, picking and packing orders for despatch, receiving goods into the warehouse, whilst following food safety and H&S procedures at all times. The successful candidate will also be responsible for: Follow food safety procedures and departmental SOP's at all times. This Inc personal hygiene and food hygiene policiesBooking in of stock, following the goods-in procedure to ensure goods are booked in accurately and stored correctlyParticipate in the loading and unloading of vehicles using MHE.Help to ensure warehouse is a safe environment and that procedures and training are followed at all timesParticipate in cyclical stock counts, ensure that stock held is accurateParticipate in the daily cleaning of the warehouseAssist in six-monthly stock takes Key attributes & skills required: Confident communicator, able to use initiative & work independently when requiredGood computer skills for use with stock management & emailFlexible working style suited to an evolving organisation - with a 'can do' attitude, always willing to go the extra mile to get the job donePhysically fit, able to lift reasonable weights (all manual handling training will be provided)Ability to follow systems & instructions, working in a safe & responsible manner at all times We are a small business on a mission to the top, so all applicants will need to have an 'all hands-on deck' attitude! Qualifications Educated to GCSE standard or NVQ in warehousing.Counter balance/Reach Fork Lift License Knowledge & Experience Minimum two years' Experience of working in a warehouse environment.Experience of computerized stock management/order systems.Experience working in a BRC accredited warehouse.
