My client has a new opportunity for a Warehouse Manager, to work for a Leading high producing Aluminium glazing systems and bespoke company. The Role The Warehouse Manager will oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met, quality standards are maintained and stock levels are managed. Responsibilities: Manage and lead Warehouse Supervisors and team of Warehouse Operatives, approximately 80 staffOversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.Improve warehouse operation policies through KPIs and warehouse standardsReduce wastage and improve efficiencyLiaison with customers and suppliers with a focus towards on time deliveryEfficient utilisation of storage space and planningKeep Stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracyEnsure BSI ISO accreditation is consistently achievedControl Costs and ensure budgetary targets are met Skills and Experience A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Warehouse Manager in a SMEA track record of implementing improvement procedures, standards and systemsIncreasing productivity ,Cost saving strategies and reducing wastageHealth and Safety trainingLogistics and Transport ManagementQuality Control Knowledge/experience of Lean Manufacturing, 5s, Six sigma, Kanban systems, Kaizen, Just In Time and ISO accreditation would be an advantage.
