A world-class Power Tools manufacturing organisation are seeking a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Planner to support a fairly new division to the global business. As the VMI Planner you will optimise and maintain the VMI process whilst analysing sales data, work alongside cross functional teams and constantly ensure the customer has sufficient stock fulfilment. Key Responsibilities Regularly monitor and analyse stock levels ensuring reports reflect sales Analyse weekly sales to accurately reflect changes in demand forecasting Ensuring that on-hand inventory is adjusted and accurate at all times Collaborate with IT and cross functional teams to develop reporting analysis tools Ensure new product launches are managed within stores efficiently Regularly liaise with the Demand, Planning, Product and Sales Management teams Profile The ideal person will have sufficient experience working in VMI or retail as you will understand the importance of how customers work and in particular how retail can be a highly seasonal business. You must have advanced Excel skills along with the ability to analyse large quantities of data and work without an IT infrastructure. Having a relevant supply chain qualification is highly desirable along with the ability to streamline and create new processes.
