You, as the Financial Operations Manager, would report to our highly skilled and well-respected Operations Director. You'd be managing the team of seven who are friendly and fun Finance and Admin professionals. Travel Finance Operations Manager Responsibilities:Manage the team and ensure that key processes, procedures and internal compliance standards are adhered toOversee supplier payments (tour operator, cruise line, airline etc.)Oversee travel agent client money bank reconciliations Oversee general back office administration dutiesCreate efficiencies within the departmentMaintain relationships with travel agents and key suppliersTravel Finance Operations Manager Skills:Dealing directly with any people issues in the teamWorking with finance and accounting proceduresWorking with Sage 50Processing bank reconciliationsDealing with merchant acquirersSupplier payment proceduresDriving efficienciesUsing MS Excel (intermediate level: e.g. knowledge of formulas)Building healthy relationships with clients / or working in a client facing roleWorking in the travel industryPro-active and confident team supervisor / ManagerPatient and friendly with clients / suppliersAble to communicate very clearly both verbal and writtenOrganised so that records kept are 100% accurateExcited when having to pay attention to detailAble to work on own initiativeAble to organise workload to ensure satisfactory delivery to all clients To be considered please apply online or email your CV with introduction to .
