Apply now Our client are a global manufacturer of aerosolized and liquid profucts, with headquarters in California. A household name around the world, they are looking for a Technical Lead for their Product Commercialisation department. The Technical Lead will provide technical and manufacturing advice in relation to supply chain, new product development, commercialisation, sales, and other departments. The Technical Lead will be at the forefront of collaboration between the Quality, Research and Development, Innovation, and Marketing departments, and will have regular contact with external suppliers and manufacturers. You would be traveling across Europe up to 30% of the time in this role. Responsibilities include: Coordinating the manufacturing process for new products and components; Leading trial production runs; Providing suggestions to improve pricing or reduce costs; Supporting implementation of manufacturing projects; Working with various departments to resolve supply and technical issues; Overseeing packaging activities from design through to manufacture, and; Being involved with packaging design. The right person for the Technical Lead role will have at least 5 years' experience in supporting product manufacturing, 5 years' technical, hands-on technical experience in manufacturing, product development or trial production, and 3 years' experience of packaging manufacturing and designs. A degree in Engineering or Packaging is a requirement of the role, and experience managing projects would be a distinct advantage, especially if you have experience of managing projects across various other European countries.
