We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager from a practice background, for our well-regarded Business Advisory / Accountancy Practice Client. The Role Based at the firm's Banbury premises, the purpose of the Tax Manager will be responsible for high level Tax advisory work, including corporate & business taxes Key Roles & Responsibilities Day-to-day point of contact to client portfolio and key overall focal point of all tax knowledgeManaging Tax & Wealth planning department, responsible for ensuring departmental objectives are achievedStaff managements tasks including appraisals, monitoring KPIs and trainingProviding excellent corporate and personal tax service to client portfolio - strategic planning, advice and project workCreating smart, client solutionsContribute to controlling WIPProvide support / management of tax compliance activitiesInitiative in taking on more complicated / advanced work from partnersBusiness development and proactive promotion of tax & wealth planning services, working closely with marketing teamProactively develop knowledge of client businessesIdentify new business opportunities Skills & Experience Strong Accountancy Practice, advisory experienceMinimum of FIVE years proven Tax experience within a practice - including Corporate, Business & Personal Tax expertiseATT, CTA or equivalent Tax qualification essentialACCA qualified desirableAssertive communicator with good charisma and rapport building qualitiesStrong networker & Business DevelopmentProactive management and leadership skillsPositive, enthusiastic approachResults drivenFirst-rate, logical problem-solverMS Office & Tax Return production software knowledge Other information Benefits include: 5% employer contributory pension scheme, Private Medical cover, Life Insurance & Flexible working hours28 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays - with option to buy / sell up to 3 days holiday too If you do not receive an initial reply within 3 working days, you can unfortunately consider your application unsuccessful 894678
