Apply on employer's website Summary Talent & Development Partner - Based in London (Canary Wharf) or central Glasgow We are complimenting the existing L&D team with an opportunity to join the business as our newly created role of Talent & Development Partner. Supported by a friendly and experienced team built up of an L&D Partner and Apprenticeship Partner, you will support in the delivery of an exceptional L&D service, focusing on driving our talent agenda. The successful candidate will be a proven L&D/Talent Specialist, keen to bring learnings and best practice to the development of our talent strategy. Reporting to the Group Learning & Development Lead, this is an excellent opportunity for an imaginative and driven individual to join a forward thinking, digital first business. Main Responsibilities Developing a talent process to identify high potential future talent in Trinity MirrorIdentifying development programmes utilising the apprenticeship levy and current Your Development at all levels within Trinity MirrorLinking talent development and identification process to role frameworksPartnering with external education organisations to tap into high performing talent encouraging the attraction of this group to Trinity MirrorLinking talent and succession planning to performance managementLinking talent strategy to promoting and tackling diversity in Trinity Mirror Ideal Candidate Comfortable demonstrating an awareness of current talent and succession methodologyExperienced in operating within an organisation that has a clear talent agenda linked to performance managementAble to demonstrate experience of administering talent and succession plan modelsExperienced in how to link talent development to diversityA strong callaborator; able to build and develop solid partnerships with stakeholdersAble to deal with challenges in a timely and confident mannerCIPD qualified (Desirable)
