Apply now ROLE- Supply Chain Manager LOCATION- West Berkshire DURATION- 3-6 Months RATE - £28 - 33P/H My client design and manufactures a range of products supplied to different sectors and they are looking to take on an experienced Supply Chain Manager, on a 3-month contract basis in the West Berkshire area. The Supply Chain Managerwill ideally have the following attributes: Qualified preferably in an Engineering or Business discipline (MBA ideal)5 or more years' experience working within a similar supply chain position leading a teamGood proficiency with using ERP/ MRP systemsGood proficiency with using Microsoft OfficeGood experience of warehouse managementCan be involved with dealing with production problemsExcellent communication skills both verbal and written The Supply Chain Manager role will involve: Managing all supply chain functions in the company; materials planning and scheduling, inventory control, warehousing, all ordering activities related to deliveries, shipping and also receivingEnsuring smooth running of the departmentManaging the onsite warehouse teamLiaising with different staff members in various departments to both share information and solve any problems when requiredManaging the risk in the supply chainAddress tactical and strategic supply chain issues when they ariseManaging vendor relationships and all procurement functionsDeveloping data management capabilitiesImplementing purchase price variation plans (including supply and demand forecasting and also inventory management)Reporting to the Head of Operations If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV!
