Apply now Supply Chain Manager, Manufacturing, FMCG An International business in the field of renewable energy and horticulture requires Supply Chain Manager for a specialist site in the North West. We are looking for someone with strong background in the fundamentals of Supply Chain, with strong focus on transportation and logistics. Ideally this will be within a fast-moving environment with seasonal demand. Responsibilities: Manage and improve the logistics and transportation function, with focus on cost reduction. Manage and improve stock control by introducing new systems and processes. Oversee order management and fulfilment, with the aim to introduce more accurate planning and forecasting techniques. Focus on improvement of quality and service levels within the overall supply chain, whilst minimising costs. To be considered we are looking for: A Supply Chain professional ideally from the manufacturing or FMCG sector. Ability to implement change and drive continuous improvement. Background managing a supply chain with very seasonal demand (preferred). Relevant supply chain qualification. Strong leadership skills Excellent interpersonal skills This would suit a candidate in earlier stages of their supply chain career, with energy and willingness to progress within an expanding, niche manufacturing business. The company has a deep history within their sector and continue to grow year on year.
