Apply now An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join my client in Hertfordshire, who are industry leaders in the design and manufacture of complex instrumentation equipment used in automated life science and pharmaceutical sectorsThe Supplier Quality Engineer located in Hertfordshire will report into the Supply Chain Manager and will improve the Quality of supplied products and services and ensure that all materials delivered meet specification and are entirely fit for purpose. Other responsibilities include developing a Supplier Quality Assurance Strategy, maintaining non-conformance report logs, liaise with the Global Quality Group, work with suppliers to improve quality and consistency of supplied components and parts, act as key contact with suppliers, work with manufacturing and design engineers, ensure supplier and in-house inspection standards are met, along with ensuring Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR's) are completed and resolve problem to root cause and presenting findings at Quality Management Reviews. The Supplier Quality Engineer, Hertfordshire will have a qualification in a Science or Engineering related discipline and will have an understanding of material supply chain and machine component manufacture.
