Apply now The Subcontracts Manager will report to the Head of Procurement and will be responsible for; constructing, negotiating, change and managing contractual T&Cs with the supply chain. This is an exciting 360 commercial procurement role, as the Sub-Contracts Manager will ensure that terms negotiated with customers, are flowed-down into the agreements signed by subcontract partners. The Subcontracts Manager will also support the implementation of category management sourcing strategies and work cross-functionally with technical and commercial stakeholders. Specific duties of the Subcontracts Manager include: Manage all procurement subcontract activities in conjunction with technical stakeholdersConstruct, negotiate, and manage contractual change with suppliers and subcontractorsEnsure suitable subcontract partners are in place to support bid, tender and new business activitiesManage subcontracts throughout project lifecyclesEnsure prime contract negotiation and commitments are flowed-down to subcontractorsSupplier / Subcontractor Management - software, manufacturing and marine re-fit suppliers Applicants to the Subcontracts Manager vacancy should meet the following criteria: Strategic procurement experience within an aerospace, defence or project driven businessThe ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers and supply chain partnersExcellent negotiation skills and commercial acumenThe gravitas to build relationships with senior stakeholdersBe SC cleared, or be eligible for full SC clearance Barclay Meade acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.
