Apply now Studio Manager £30-35K DOE Hampshire, commutable from Southampton, Eastleigh, Romsey, Salisbury VR/08061 We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Studio Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation. You will be joining a supportive, fast paced environment within the printing industry. Managing a small team, you will be working on a wide range of projects and will be responsible for the completion of artwork, mentoring of new staff and client liaison. Your role will involve: Ensuring all work is completed to client guidelines and standards and that all images produced are correct in accordance to the quality procedures.Preparing accurate artworks from approved designs and briefsMentoring new and junior staff, providing training and advice to less experienced team membersUsing systems to record image retouching and providing colour proofs for client sign offLiaising with other managers within the company and keep them updated on the progress of projectsEnsuring qualify control procedures are adhered to at all times. You will be the ideal candidate due to your: Previous experience of working within the graphics industry and/or as a middleweight artworkerProficient in all adobe software (Illustrator & Photoshop)Ability to manage multiple projects and work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to multi task and share skills and knowledge with othersProven experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standardThe ability to understand and execute creative direction and instructionsStrong communication and negotiation skills This is a varied & rewarding role, well suited to an experienced, team orientated design professional.
