We are an established family run business that specialises in supplying a range of class leading, specialist commercial vehicles throughout the UK. Our office, showroom and workshops are located just 5 miles from Lincoln City Centre. As our Parts, Stores and Warehouse Supervisor/Controller your duties will include: Manage and where necessary improve current stores & stock systemImplement new computerised system with barcode optionOrder parts and components for all departments and processGoods inward and outwardTest and inspect components to ISO 9001 quality standardsTo identify and record any non-conformances to specification requirements. Liaise with production/design department to resolves such issues. Raise and maintain relevant non-conformance report.Distribute parts to the relevant departmentsManage supplier credits and returnsMonitor and manage stock levels and spaceEnsuring products are stocked correctly and safelyFile and manage all administrationProvide support and liaise with production managerDeal with phone/email enquiries We are looking for a multi-talented Parts & Stores Supervisor/Controller with the following skills and experiences: Minimum of 5 years stores and stock managementComputerised stock systemsISO 9001 experience (preferable but not essential)Excellent administration & organisational skillsExcellent communication skills - be able to maintain good relationships with customers, staff and suppliersComputer literate and confident with common Office softwareBe able to work on own initiative under pressureHighly accurate and able demonstrate attention to detailFork lift license/experience (not essential) You will be part of an already successful team and be an important cog in the wheel, not just a number. Spend your day in excellent, modern quality working conditions with friendly people. Your working hours will be Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm Alternate Saturdays 8.00 - 12.00 In return, you will receive an excellent basic salary starting at £21,000 to £25,000 dependent upon experience.
