Apply now Software Development Manager Hampshire - Farnborough £55,000 - £60,000 per annum + benefits An experienced Software Development Manager is required to join a busy and growing development team located in Farnborough, Hampshire. You will be responsible for taking ownership of the organisations software delivery process as well as the day to day operation of the development and software testing teams. As the Software Development Manager you will play an integral part in the full lifecycle of software delivery from initial resource scheduling work through to go-live releases so it is essential that you have excellent organisation skills. You will be working in an LAMP environment in an organisation that delivers a market leading SaaS product and work with cutting edge cloud hosting technologies such as AWS. Although our client are not looking for someone technically hands on, someone with management experience in a LAMP environment would be highly desirable. A successful candidate is likely to have come from a technical background and have experience in the following areas; Key Skills Team management - proven experience coaching, mentoring and leading software development teams.Full software development lifecycle ownershipProven experience in project management/ project delivery.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processesHighly organised with strong attention to detailTechnical background - PHP (desirable) The software development manager opportunity offers a candidate to work closely with the MD in scoping the future and success of the organisation.
