Social Media Executive Job Purpose: Manages the social media channels campaigns to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. Researches and analyses social media trends, including social media ad revenue and web visitor data, to improve social media presence and campaign efficacy. Social Media Executive Job Duties: Strategy Grow the UK & Ireland Facebook communityGrow the Engagement and reach of the campaignsOversee UK & Ireland social media accounts management - currently limited to Facebook ( plans to expand to Instagram)Design, create and manage a comprehensive content plan based on Global Social Media guidelinesUnderstand the client's audience & fan base in order to develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customersCoordinate social media messaging with departments: work with other departments to develop social media timelines coinciding with new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages (PR, sales, products, brand marketing, e-com)Liaise with the Global Social team to amplify UK & Ireland's voices on other Social Media channels ( Twitter / Insta )Support with the development and expansion of my client's community and influencer outreach effortsAmplify UGC and influencer content through own channels Community Management Community leadership: Monitor the social media channels and respond in a timely manner (SLA to be implemented)Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate: engage with social media users and respond to any mentions over FacebookIdentify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company. Report notable threats to appropriate management.Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "Social" way while cultivating leads and sales.Shift any negative sentiment and turn relationship in positive engagements Content Review Globally produced content & posts suggestion and identify gaps for local opportunitiesDevelop engaging, creative, innovative local content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages (images, video and written)When necessary, brief local agency for production of additional assets, requiring in-depth creative development and production Reporting Analyse, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results and suggest improvementsAnalyse key metrics and tweak strategy as neededRegularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reportsProduce social media performance reportsMonitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategyMonitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns Social Media Executive Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Marketing or Social Media Extensive Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios. Web Proficiency, Computer Software Proficiency: Copywriting, Content Creation, Graphic design experience. Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format. Public Relations and Brand Marketing Experience: possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues. Proofreading and Editing Skills, Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Maintains excellent writing and language skills. Interpersonal & Customer Service Skills: demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution
