We are looking to recruit a Settlements Analyst to fit into an experienced team with LNG experience. Key accountabilities: Accountable for the accurate and timely completion of Settlements activities within the area of responsibility: Raise and issue all AR invoices.Reconcile and match payments/pay incoming AP invoices.Monitor customer payment status to ensure timely receipt of payments. Manage past due payments.Provide up to date projected cash flows to enable Treasury to manage daily cash requirements.Resolution of volume, tax and other disputes, in a timely manner.Ensure all invoices are tax compliant.Support the Settlements Team Lead in ensuring that the operational activity within the area of responsibility is conducted within a strong control framework. Highlight any gaps or issues and in conjunction with the Settlements Team Lead, support development, documentation and implementation of mitigations as appropriate.Understand the business performance expectations of the team and support the Settlements Team Lead in meeting KPIs for area of responsibility.Support business relationships with identified key stakeholders, building and maintaining customer focus.In conjunction with the Settlements Team Lead, ensure all processes are clearly documented and maintained.Support Group cash and working capital management objectives. Essential experience and job requirements: Support and appropriately challenge team members.Demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration.Proven ability to communicate and influence.Ability to establish rapport and develop relationships with a wide network of both internal stakeholders and external customers.Demonstrated willingness to appropriately challenge and stand one's ground when necessary.Confident oral and written communication skills.Strong technical capabilities.Proven ability to quickly pick up new concepts.Ability to identify control deficiencies and support implementation of remediation.Understanding of Settlements processes within area of responsibility.Understanding of overall deal lifecycle and the impact of Settlements processes on the lifecycle.SAP.Ability to quickly become proficient using new systems. Desirable experience and job requirements: Experience of LNG.Experience of Titan (LNG trading system).Knowledge of financial and physical trading instruments.
