Apply now We are currently looking for a Service Engineer for our Newton Abbot based client. The ideal candidate will have previous Windows and Doors experience. You will be provided with a van, and will be covering the South West, including Cornwall & North Devon. You will be going to new build sites, as well as domestic properties so if you hold a CSCS card that would be beneficial, however they will put the right person through the qualification. The salary on offer will be subject to experience. This position would suit a candidate who has been a service engineer in the windows industry, or alternatively someone with good shop floor windows experience, looking for the next step. To be successful you must have excellent customer service ability, and a friendly disposition as you will be dealing with customers daily. You will be self-driven and organised. Some training will be provided; however, you must have previous sector experience to be considered. Duties associated with this role include - Visiting domestic properties & new build sites across Devon & Cornwall.Carrying out repairs on PVC & Aluminium windows, doors and bifolds.Carrying out glass adjustments, and assessments.Carrying out remedial adjustments, and service callsGiving customers advise on their products.Ensuring the relevant paperwork is signed for each job.
