Apply now A modern and forward thinking Accounting Practice based in Harrogate, our partner is highly regarded across the region and are now looking to hire a new Senior Manager for their growing team. Believing that Accountants should do more than just accounts and taxes we are looking for someone who genuinely cares about the success of their clients, working with them to help set and achieve targets and develop exciting growth plans. Working with the Partners and helping to manage and mentor a team of part-qualified accountants, your responsibilities will include: Managing a portfolio of key clients, understanding their businesses and assisting them in their growthAssisting the Partners with business development, helping to bring in new clients on a consistent and regular basisManaging and mentoring a talented team of part-qualified accountants As the right candidate, you will have several years experience in an accounting practice with at least 3 years in a management role and you are ACCA, ACA or ICAEW qualified. You have an in-depth understanding of both UK accounting standards and tax regulations and are able to offer tailored advice to each client depending on their unique circumstances. You are a strong leader with aspirations to become Partner and are able to demonstrate the attitude and work ethic to get you there.
