Apply now This dynamic and fast growing company, c£100million turnover have created the new role of Senior Management Accountant to support the Finance Director and Executive team. An exciting time to join the business, with ongoing investment as well as organic growth, the successful individual will be in a pivotal role. The primary focus for this person will be to support the ongoing requirement for excellent internal controls and procedures, provide solid management accounts information and good financial visibility to the Board, which in turn will facilitate further growth and opportunity. This role will suit an ambitious, commercially astute, qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience and systems ability. Reporting to the Finance Director, core accountabilities will include: Production of monthly management accountsAssisting with budgets and forecasts.Cash managementLiaison with Auditors as requiredSupervision of a small finance team (Albeit not immediately)Consolidation of group accountsOversee the management of the bespoke contract database from a finance department perspective, ensuring accuracy of information and supporting non finance staff in its use.Monitor WIP and liaise with the relevant managers as necessaryAdhoc reporting as required.KPI reporting and analysis Experience, skills and Qualifications A fully qualified accountant, with strong management accounts experience (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)Experience of working in a contract, project environment desirable (monitoring WIP etc.)A strong communicator, demonstrating good self-confidence.Ability to present financial information to Executive team if required.Excellent Excel and systems ability. Salary and benefits Salary region £35,000 - £45,000 + Discretionary bonusContributory Employer Pension (6%)Excellent opportunity to gain clear career progression. **Travel to other UK sites and some overseas travel will be a requirement of the role.
