Apply now My client is now recruiting for a Senior Event Consultant to join their innovative and creative business. The role is office based with occasional travel and you will be required to deal with a diverse range of clients across a variety of industry sectors, who are looking for venues for their corporate meeting and conferences. This is great opportunity to develop your skills and if you have proven experience of building and managing client relationships, have good organisational, problem solving and selling abilities, this is the role for you. Key Responsibilities Day to day delivery of venue findingCross-selling a portfolio of additional servicesDeliver proposals that match the clients' briefsDevelop a professional relationship and manage the accounts effectivelyEnsure the achievement of financial and non-financial targetsWork to ensure client retention and developmentExcellent negotiating skills, demonstrating cost savings to customersAttend site visits and develop extensive venue knowledge Key Skills Good computer skills to include Microsoft Word and ExcelAble to communicate with a wide range of people at all levelsAbility to promote and sell a service to clients confidentlyWork to maximise Sales and Key Account opportunitiesOutgoing, sociable and professionalGood time management, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressureTrack record of previous sales successProven record in achieving targetsExperience of the hotel, events and meetings industry would be an advantage If you have the experience required for this role we would love to hear from you.
