The role The Senior Conference Producer will be responsible for the creation, development and delivery of a portfolio of established large scale business conferences. This position requires the experience of a confident and proven conference producer to manage the existing portfolio and take the events to the next level. This position will suit a self-starter with creative flair, someone who can come up with new ideas and manage a large workload to tight deadlines. Responsibilities include: Project management of your conferencesWorking on large scale events: annuals and launchesMarket research and analysis of informationDevelop your own senior advisory network for eventsTopic & Speaker researchProgramme developmentSpeaker acquisition & relationship managementWorking with internal teams; Sales, Marketing & OpsAttending conferences - overseas travel will be requiredRegular reporting to manager The person Commercially focused Graduate with at least 2 years commercial conference production experienceExcellent research skills- desk, phone and face to faceStrong analytics & communication skills.Excellent creative writing skillsProject management skills - You need to be strong at planning & organisingExperience of developing existing events and generating new topics for launch eventsWorking to deadlines will be part of your daily work lifeTeam orientated but equally as strong working independentlyOrganised and excellent time management skills If you are focused on developing your conference production skills and want to produce large scale events please contact Helen at Jackson Barnes Recruitment for more information on this opportunity.
