They are currently looking for a confident and enthusiastic science graduate with some commercial/business/sales related experience or interest to join their team in the East Sussex, who will develop sales and promote their product and service portfolio into the life science research community. The role will primarily involve liaising with new and existing customers from an office-based location and will suit a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with customers in order to develop business opportunities and close sales. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking for a career away from the laboratory for a commercial role in scientific sales. Key responsibilities: To sell and promote the company's portfolio of products to customers over the phone/email and achieve and exceed sales targetsDevelop, build and maintain business relationships with customers across a range of industry sectorsDevelop good knowledge of company's products in order to engage in technical discussions with customersProvide customers with quotations and negotiate the best solution to their needs Role Requirements Sales/Telesales/Customer-focused experience in a target-driven environment (Scientific preferred) Degree level in a Scientific or Technical related area preferable Excellent communication skillsMotivated, hard working with the ability to work on their own initiative
