We are looking for a Bilingual Scientific Officer to contribute to the clinical and regulatory science input for a portfolio of products and disease areas for marketing authorisations in the Paediatric Medicines Office. This role is a maternity cover of up to 12 months to start as soon as possible. Duties will be varied and you will: Working within the timeframes and performance goals set out in the Division and Department business planReporting to the Head of Office and other scientific officers, as appropriateCo-operating with other colleagues in all units according to projects and especially of the Human Medicines Research and Development Support DivisionPaediatrics Committee Scientific lead role: facilitating the oversight of the committee's activity and contributing to the strategic direction of the Paediatrics Committee, in close collaboration with the chair and the office head or Paediatric Medicines EvaluationSupporting development, implementation and use of appropriate IT systemsParticipating in in-house training programs and other meetings The working languages of the organisation are Spanish, Czech, Danish, German, Estonian, English, French, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Slovakian, Finnish, Swedish, Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Norwegian, Icelandic Profile Experience in the scientific evaluation of medicinal products for human useDegree in pharmacy or other relevant Life SciencesUnderstanding of the EU regulatory and legal framework for medicines evaluation in the EUStrong organisational skills with the ability to work to demanding deadlines within a complex procedural environmentProven document management skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills to liaise with various different stakeholdersFluency in English and at least one other EU language -Spanish, Czech, Danish, German, Estonian, English, French, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Slovakian, Finnish, Swedish, Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Norwegian, Icelandic To apply, please send your CV in Word format to Rebecca.
