Reporting directly to the MD, this Sales Team Manager job in tour operating will form part of the management team and will be responsible for the performance of the sales team, ensuring all enquiries, quotations and bookings are administrated correctly, efficiently and in-line with company policy and procedures. You will lead by example to ensure the highest level of customer care is delivered and sales targets exceeded and will be able to service their customers when required. You will directly manage the sales and operations team therefore you will have a proven track record of managing highly successful teams. What's also important is that you are happy to get your hands dirty and facilitate bookings at peak periods, leading by example combined with managing and motivating the team on a day to day basis. This senior job in travel requires someone that has experience of operating in a luxury, worldwide operator preferably within a sales centre environment within tour operating. You will have extensive knowledge of tailor-made, bespoke packages, created for HNW clients. This is a very social team so its important that you are prepared to fully immerse yourself in the business as well as motivate and inject energy and professionalism to allow this business to continue on their significant growth and success. You may currently be a regional sales manager looking for more autonomy to include managing product and sales or an energetic reservations manager, managing a team in a job in tour operating.
