Apply now We are currently looking for an Relationship Manager based in London for one of our Clients.Our client was established in Switzerland in 1967 on a solid foundation of banking tradition that spans several generations. Job purpose The role holder is primarily responsible for driving profitable volume growth through value added sales and service of Commercial /SME customers. They target and manage an assigned portfolio of customers within the commercial credit business segments.The key challenge in this role is to manage both existing and new corporate portfolios and to read early warning signs that could affect the portfolio health. Tasks and Responsibilities : Relationship Management and New Business Development: Manage relationships with large/medium to small clients of the Bank. Prepare a structured calling/meeting program to identify new business opportunities and explore customer needs with the aim of matching the Bank's products. Responsible for revenue and asset targets as assigned from time to time and cross selling of FI and Private Banking products Corporate Accounts Management and Credit Proposal Processing: Manage a portfolio of corporate accounts from SME to Corporate in terms of turnover and credit limits Analysis / Monitoring / Documentation Maintain the validity of accounts, monitoring receipt of payments from customers and documentation on their facilities. Monitor all accounts in terms of credit movement, business volumes and control. Follow up for upcoming TR due dates and PAD retirements. Provide regular MIS updates to SRM on performance of amounts allocated. Remedial Management Read early warning signs and proactively escalate concerns to the SRM for advice. Follow-up for overdue payments and in case of no progress, transfer the accounts to Recovery and provide all the documents and necessary support to Recovery. ARM Development Advise and guide ARMs on routine and complex matters. Special Projects Assigned by SRM /Branch Management Job Requirements Experience and Education BA/MBA or equivalent Master level preferredCFP is an advantageCredit Risk Analysis / relationship management / remedial management / trade financeMinimum 3 -5 years' experience in credit function in the banking industry or relevant segment. Skills and Competencies Legal & Regulatory Knowledge; Banks policies and products; Reading early warning signs; Structuring of lines Attributes : Communication SkillsInterpersonal SkillsTeam PlayerAbility to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
