The Lodge is a caring, welcoming and truly person-centres home. We build our care and activity plans around individuals, supporting and encouraging them to be happy, cared for and as independent as possible. We are an experienced team who are passionate about helping people with complex physical and cognitive needs with varying levels of dependence. The Home Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager are both nurses by provession, with many years clinical experience. Both managers will appreciate your role and will be able to identify and individualise your development needs. You will be joining a great existing multidisciplinary team that is well-resourced allowing you to focus on delivering hands-on person centred care to our service users, giving them the ability to make their own choices and assist them in living as independently as possible. Your days will be varied, but will revolve around assessing care needs, designing care plans, implementing them and reviewing as required. You will supervise the care team to ensure that service users receive the best possible care in a safe and supportive environment whilst promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect. This will include administering, reviewing and monitoring medication. You will be a Qualified Nurse with a current PIN who is passionate about delivering quality care to our specialised group of services users. You will be well organised and able to work on your own initiative. Ideally you'll be up to date with current evidence based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations.
