You will ensure the regional team are delivering best value at all times and that proper financial control is exercised. Client Details My client is one of the UK's leading housing providers looking to continue their period of growth with the aim of delivering 2000 units per year. Whilst continuing to grow, my client is establishing a new Property management team in order to present a clear lead responsibility for the company's assets. They are looking to introduce expertise into their operating model through the development of a this team who will take ownership of all estates & developments. Their extensive portfolio of residential projects comprises of multi tenure schemes of several hundred units, large estates and tenure specific smaller smaller schemes. The Regional Property Manager role will have an overview of their Senior Property Managers sites below them. As a leader you will be offering support and mentoring to your reports, helping their personal development. Description Regional Property Manager- Leading National Housing Association Provision of strategic leadership and management across the team, including recruitment and retention, learning and development, performance management and direction as required. Responsible for ensuring the team are carrying out their duties, legal compliance and best practice, carrying out checks as necessary to provide effective supervision. This will involve liaising with stakeholders including customers and ensuring Section 20 consultations are carried out as required. Accountable for the achievement of key performance indicators across the region, working with the team to ensure targets are met and site visits and property inspections across the portfolio are undertaken within agreed timeframes. Responsible for identifying KPI trends and developing strategies to deal with deficiencies before they become problematic. To work closely with the New Build Property Managers, Strategic Asset Management, Compliance and Development Teams to ensure that new developments are handed over effectively, with all areas of concern addressed and service charge budgets in place. Work with colleagues across all directorates to ensure that policies and procedures are fit for purpose, reflect best practice in the field, and take part in projects as required. To work with Property Services business area and maintain a close working relationship to ensure a seamless customer repair service is delivered. Work with Strategic Asset Management and Capital Delivery on planned works to ensure works are effectively delivered in line with property condition needs and cyclical works are tracked to ensure that a proper balance is maintained between managing costs and customer expectations. Monitor and review regional team budgets, service charge budgets and expenditure in partnership with Senior Property Managers and other internal and external departments, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with key dates/milestones.
