Apply now R&D Manager - BioanalysisMy client is specialises in delivering high-quality central laboratory testing services in support of clinical research studies. Combining a consultative approach with a set of guiding principles they offer high end testing analysis services to clients.They are now looking for a Research and Development (R&D) Manager to join the business. You will be responsible to Support Business Development and Scientific Affairs with capabilities enquiries. Providing pricing for new tests or batched tests as requested by clients.Other duties will involve:* To provide leadership and technical expertise to studies, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating scientifically valid studies.* Assume responsibility for writing study plans, ordering test items, checking raw data, results of statistical analysis and final reports for allocated studies to the required technical / quality level. Review of analytical plans and reports from partner Laboratories.* Production of validation summaries for clients.* To bring new platforms and testing in-house including identifying testing, pricing, setup, troubleshooting, validation and production of all relevant documentation including validation documents and SOPs.The candidate:* BSc / PhD or equivalent in Biochemistry or related discipline.* Knowledge and experience of using techniques such as ELISA or PCR.* Experience in the testing and analysis of large molecules and biomarkers.* Experience of in immunological-based method development and validation would be desirable.* Experience of working in a regulated GCP or GLP laboratory is preferred* Experience of in designing and coordinating scientifically valid studies.
