An exciting opportunity for Quantity Surveyor has arisen in London and Thames Valley area. As a Quantity Surveyor they are looking for someone to be the driver in developing contract value optimisation, tracking Divisional performance of the Project Management services within their client account. Develop and implement a consistent commercial framework for the projects business and develop/adapt/implement a proactive approach to risk management reducing risk to as low as reasonably practical.Provide commercial input to business proposal. Full responsibility for the negotiations, valuations, interims and final accountsProvide monthly business analysis of the projects to Project Manager, Account Director, and Client.Principal role within the account to ensure prospects are priced correctly / within contracted timeframes, and budgets are adhered to over the implementation of accepted projects.What you need to Succeed the Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in services environment of value led sales pricing and general cost estimatingExperienced in contract value optimisationExperience in preparing and negotiating legal and commercial aspects of sizeable contracts Strong analysis and report writing skills demonstrating attention to detail Proven ability to contribute to the development of long-term business plans and commercial strategyProven experience in negotiating complex deals with third-party suppliersIdeally qualified to HNC/degree level in quantity surveying, engineering, commercial management, business administration or Facilities Management .What you will receiveAs a Quantity Surveyor you will recieve a salary up to £60,000 dependent on experience. 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeCompany car allowance PLEASE NOTE:Valid full drivers license is requiredOccasional UK wide Travel.
