Apply now Job: Quality Manager Salary: Circa 50K Industry: Aerospace Location: North Wales A top-class manufacturer of Aerospace components is searching for a Quality Manager to join the business on a full time, permanent basis at their site in North Wales. This position will focus primarily on the effective management of the AS 9100 Rev D Quality Management System as well as managing internal audits and the continuous improvement of the businesses' quality processes and procedures. Key responsibilities for the successful Quality Manager will include: Closely monitoring the company Quality Management System and reporting updates on performance and any improvements to senior managementPromoting an awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisationLiaising with external assessment bodies on matters related to AS9100 Rev DEnsuring that staff are inducted into the requirements of the Quality Management System related to their own roles and responsibilitiesMaking sure that all suppliers used by the business are selected, evaluated and re-evaluated and that records documenting this are maintainedEnsuring that senior management undertake regular assessments of customer satisfaction and that any necessary improvements are consequently madeHandling internal audit processes and analysing data on the overall effectiveness of the Quality Management System. The successful Quality Manager will possess the following attributes: A minimum of 5 years' experience working within a Quality capacity within an Aerospace industry environment - preferably at management levelA deep understanding and working knowledge of AS 9100 Rev D Quality Management System and standardsExperience of successfully managing a teamAn Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification is advantageousThe ability to work cross functionally, independently and confidently is essential If this Quality Manager position is of interest to you and you have the necessary skills then please apply with an up to date CV along with your availability.
