Apply now As part of this successful global manufacturing organisation, the EMEA business now requires an experienced Quality Director who will support the region by incorporating a system for preventive quality management, seek to improve overall performance and discipline in project execution whilst establishing and sharing best practice. The Group owns some of today's most successful brands. The EMEA division has operational activities throughout various market regions within Europe, Middle East and Africa, generating a multi-billion pound annual turnover. The Role:As the Quality Director for EMEA you will be required to report key operational activities and ensure that good financial and business data for all quality related projects and operational activities within EMEA are available and used to measure performance. Key to the role will be the development of a structured quality improvement strategy across the EMEA division, including managing quality and project KPIs and strategic development of best practice initiatives. Operating at a strategic level, in this role you will be required to devise, implement and influence at all levels throughout the region. The Group has locations throughout the EMEA region. For this role candidates will ideally be located near London however, consideration will be given to applicants who are located near to any of the Group's main European hubs. The Candidate:Ideally of graduate standard, or higher, from within a mechanical engineering or electronics based discipline,candidates will also be required to demonstrate that they have: at least 10 years' experience of working in a quality/ project management role within a production led environment such as automotive, manufacturing or engineeringa strong engineering background with experience of high volume engineering product launches and production start upsexperience of dealing with supplier and operational quality issues in a high volume, engineering environmentdeveloped solid project management and strong organisational skills, with close attention to detail and a commitment of working to deadlinesexperience of managing complex programmes, projects and related teamsprevious experience of working on a pan-European / international business basisthe ability to swiftly interpret complex international organisations and successfully build an internal network Candidates should also be: analytical, results driven, with a strong commitment to successa hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive, professional, "can-do" attitudea strong capable leader, with the presence and ability to communicate, motivate and influence at the highest levelhighly proficient in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential. Candidates should note that there will be extensive travel within the EMEA region with this role.
