The school caters for all ages and are looking for a qualified teacher that is confident and has experience with ASD, SLD and post 16 students. The teacher must also be competent in Makaton and PECs and be qualified to use TEAM TEACH. All applicants must have a valid DBS on the update service. The school is located 20mins walk from a mainline train station and close to various local bus routes. Access to a car would be advantageous.Key skills and experience:* SEN teaching experience within an SEN school* Experience teaching SLD and ASD students* QTS or QTLS * Confident using Makaton and PECS* Professional manor and friendly approach * Experience managing challenging behaviour * Hold a TEAM TEACH certificate (in date) If you are interested in this position please send your CV to Gemma at Veritas Education.
