Apply now THE COMPANY:Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Purchasing & Planning Manager to join our successful, privately owned, multi-million pound turnover client based in Worksop. Joining this innovative company, you will bring experience of working in a similar role and be committed to contributing to the success of the business.THE JOB:The main purpose of the Purchasing & Planning Manager is to manage the expeditors and stock controller to ensure a smooth supply chain whilst maintaining an exceptional service delivery to all customers.Duties & Responsibilities:* Management of the planning and stock control function* Key supplier management* Warehouse stock levels and movements* Weekly and monthly forecasting analysis* Liaising with marketing, sales and customer service to ensure SLA's are adhered to* Reporting * Managing a team of 6THE PERSON: The successful Purchasing & Planning Manager will be analytical and have a high attention to detail. Being responsible for a team of 6, you will have excellent staff management experience, leading by example to ensure work is completed to schedule.You will have:* Experience of working in a supply chain function* Previous experience of managing a team* Knowledge of expediting processes and procedures* Excellent IT skills* Experience of ordering stock based on company parameters* Degree level education or equivalent experienceYou will be a focused team player who has a positive and adaptable attitude towards change.
