Apply now Title Publications Director - Medical Communications Summary / Heading A vibrant and growing MedComms agency is looking for a Publications Director to join their publications and medical affairs teams to lead their projects creating and developing abstracts, posters, manuscripts and publications. You will be utilising excellent verbal and written communication skills to lead your assigned projects, working to manage your junior staff, coordinating with current clients and suppliers and presenting pitches and proposals to current and new clients. Along with leading the projects, you will also be closely involved in the creation of the materials, reviewing the teams editing, writing and research and advising on improvements and changes. This is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Medical Writer or Account Director looking to move into a hybrid-type role or a Publications Manager looking for the next step up in a growing MedComms team. Candidate Requirements: • Degree qualification in Life Sciences. • 5 years + Medical Communications experience. • Experience in using PubSTRAT or similar systems. • Proven line management experience. • Experience in reviewing, developing and implementing editorial processes. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. • Experience of working well under pressure. • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations. • High level of organisation, attention to detail and time-management. • Pro-active and enthusiastic.
