Apply now I am currently recruiting for a Project/ Quotations Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy based in the Oxfordshire area. You will be liaising directly with customers and technical teams taking ownership of contracts from beginning to end and ensuring service level agreements are met. You will have excellent communication skills and natural ability to build relations with internal and external teams. Main responsibilities: Provide method and profitable estimated from information providedProject Manage new business - generate project planCreate clear and concise quotesComplete and conduct contract reviewNegotiate and purchase raw materials from suppliersTo be proactive in continuous improvement ideas on product quality and delivery and reduce cost Skills and experience: Strong background in mechanical engineeringAbility to understand and interpret engineering informationGood communicator at all levels both verbal and written with persuasive negotiating skillsGood level of IT literacyCan - do attitude with a flexible approach, strong work ethics essentialKnowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniquesExperience in a sub-contract machining company would be advantageous This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a company that will provide an opportunity to work on interesting projects with market leaders £30,000 - £35,000 Please apply for further information on this fantastic opportunity
