Apply now Your new companyEstablished for over 15 years this organisation have grown year on year to become a £35 million pound turnover company, with strategic growth plans to take their turnover to £50 million in the next 2 years. They are leading contractor working on high end refurbishment and fit out projects across London and the South. Working with some of the more prestigious private and public sector landlords, they uniquely operate their business to offer an extensive range of construction services - most contractors sub out, this allows them to have better control of costs which means more profit on their jobs and are cash rich. Project values range from £50k - £20 million. As a Project QS, you will be one of the leads in the Commercial team, supported by a Commercial Director and supporting the junior QS's. With the growth plans they have, you will be key to the development of the team.Your new roleYou will be responsible for managing all costs related to live projects, seeking to minimise costs, enhance value for money and achieve the required standards for quality. You will also be tasked with; procuring materials and manage the supply chain, liaising closely with site and project managers to ensure maximum efficiency of working methods and material procurement, managing price variations and submit valuations, agreeing final accounts, assist where required in the tendering process.What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have proven experience within a Quantity Surveying role at a similar level, ideally within a fit out refurbishment environment, working on projects with contract values of up to but not limited to £10 million.
