Apply now Our client is a highly successful internet business, with a user base several million strong, that has approximately doubled in size every year for the past three and is now looking for a passionate and experienced Project Manager for their established Development team based North of Newcastle. Your responsibilities will include: Working directly with the CDO to help establish best practice process, reporting and documentation to produce timely delivery of the product roadmapLeading the operational planning and execution of the client development team, working with the team to ensure project planning goals are structured and progress is reported internally, escalating issues as requiredManaging the development process from concept through prototyping, development & release to live operation, managing team members assignments to maximise efficiency and motivation in order to meet targetsSecuring acceptance and approval of deliverables from key stakeholdersSupporting the CDO and key stakeholders to ensure design, quality & timing goals are effectively communicated within the entire development teamMaintaining high working efficiency within teams by addressing all blocking issues in a timely manner, escalating issues as requiredWorking with client leads to ensure the team has the correct resources and equipment to meet expected deliverables and deadlinesCoordinating third party service providers to ensure timely deliveries against internal requirements and pipelines (eg art, music, audio, user testing, narrative)Working closely with the User Group through the product life cycle to ensure that all user requirements are prioritised, planned and deliveredTracking commercial goals across the project lifecycle, demonstrating awareness of the business priorities through clear reportingEnsuring that required project documentation is complete and archived You will need: Highly effective team leadership skills with experience of managing and directing the development process within a mobile client group using agile software development methodology across multiple platformsExperience of creating strong, proven plans from the ground up, whilst continually identifying improvements to enhance and develop existing processesThe ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences on a broad range of topics: technical, business and creativeHigh levels of initiative with first class time management, project management and organisational skillsStrong problem solving and decision-making abilityKnowledge and insight on industry trends Also desirable is/are: Data analysis skillsExperience with software development environments, planning tools and various production methodologiesOutsourcing and contract 'insourcing' management experienceExperience working with licensed IPs Please note: High levels of interest mean we will only contact you if your application is shortlisted and this will happen within five working days.
