Apply now Project Co-Ordinator (Construction) Salary: 25K- 30K Location: West Sussex Ref: LSA18013 Our client is actively looking for a self-motivated and organised Project Co-Ordinator to join their team. Reporting to the project manager, this role is key in ensuring that the company's manufacturing and construction projects run smoothly from an internal perspective. You will be responsible for knowing the status of each project at any given time, scheduling production, purchasing materials, booking site assembly teams, arranging deliveries and other logistics. As the Project Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for: Maintaining project files and ensuring projects are moved from one phase to the next through internal channels, by liaising with relevant teams internally and externallyProducing project procurement lists from information supplied by the design team and cross checking with sales team against quotationsSourcing materials suppliers, negotiating and maintaining best price and payment terms, issuing purchase orders and ensuring timely deliveries of goods to both manufacturing and building sitesFlexible scheduling of building production with the manufacturing teamManaging the portfolio of external and internal assembly teams, negotiating rates and be in charge of their time sheet administrationSourcing and booking deliveries of manufactured goods and components, assembly tools and machinery to building siteIssuing part payment invoices at appropriate stages of each project and chasing payments To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate: A driven person with initiative, excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detailYou must be able to work well under pressure, manage a number of projects at the same timeYou will be the link between all internal and site teams, so the ability to work with others to achieve goals within budget and a set time frame is essentialStrong and proven track record in managing construction project and logisticGreat project management skills, using suitable project management tools coupled with good production scheduling experienceSkilled negotiator and have experience in construction procurementAbility to understand construction design drawings and have some degree of quantity surveying experience or understandingGood IT skills, such as Excel, MS Office and experience of some invoicing software are essential Due to clients location own car will be necessary
