Accordingly, a Programme Manager is required to manage not only the successful delivery of the Programme, but also to ensure that any legacy activities are transitioned as BAU after programme completion. Key responsibilities Maintain a strategic view over the individual projects to deliver successful outcomes against agreed programme/organisational objectivesEnsure the programme is run efficiently and effectively, maintaining an overview of medium and long term goals, options for delivery and trade-offs in addition to ensuring that the appropriate controls are in place to govern day-to-day deliveryEnsure the programme team works in an agile/flexible manner, adjusting plans and resourcing to match the shifting external/internal environment while maintaining the team's resilienceIdentify key strategic issues and priorities at all stages of programme deliveryProvide timely reports upwards on programme progress, flagging key issues and potential solutions to manage exposure and maintain momentumLead the PMO in the creation of quality programme and project artefacts (e.g. detailed project plans, RAID, stakeholder engagement strategy and matrix, etc.)Review outputs of projects throughout delivery lifecycle ensuring best practice if followed The position will suit a Programme Manager with a track record in delivering complex multi-disciplinary programmes across a full lifecycle.
