Apply now Are you a highly-motivated Shift Manager, with experience in batch processing and a positive people-management approach? As a Shift Manager, you will work a rotating shift pattern (weekly rotation - AM/PM/Days - Monday to Friday) and take responsibility for a busy Production floor that produces up to 108 products at any one time. The production team are made up of both permanent and temporary employees with varying degrees of experience, so your people management skills and quick thinking will prove key to this role. With 12 machines to monitor and over 20 staff on your shift, you will be supported by team leaders, but will take overall responsibility for ensuring the following: Cells are adequately resourcedProduction plans are developed in line with customer expectation and delivered as per company objectivesEfficiency is improved across all machines and tooling is adequately maintainedStaff are knowledgeable, trained and working productively, in line with expectationMotivation levels are high and staff are provided with regular feedback in relation to their performanceTraining needs are managedAny issues are dealt with and resolved in a timely manner - whether product or employeeHealth and Safety, housekeeping and quality standards are adhered toIdeas for improvement are raised during weekly meetings and any concerns raised during meetings are dealt with appropriately and to conclusionAccurate records are kept as per company procedure and customer requirement To take up this varied role, we seek a candidate with the following skills & experience: Experience of batch processingSolid people management skills, gained in a production environment and a positive, hands-on approachHigh levels of organisation and the ability to work under pressure in a busy environmentGood problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet and make decisionsExcellent communication skills If this sounds like the new challenge you seek, please apply today for immediate consideration.
