Apply now Competitive Salary Dependent On Experience We are recruiting a Head of Engineering to manage the distributed team who are designing, developing and maintaining our cloud-based Enterprise Software application, DYNAMIKA, used by biotech and pharma companies around the word. DYNAMIKA is a unique platform which incorporates functionality for managing imaging data logistics as well as advanced methods for imaging data post-processing and analysis. It is an all-in-one system, which is ISO 13485, CE and FDA510K compliant. It is secure, robust and used in hundreds of real-world trials to help making objective early go / no go decisions on the novel drugs' efficacy. You will be responsible for making it more efficient, automated and user-friendly. Your users will include the sites who are acquiring the images, the radiology experts who are reading the images, our clients who need dashboard and our internal team, who is using DYNAMIKA system on daily basis to run the trials. You will get familiar with various therapeutic areas, such as oncology, rheumatology, musculoskeletal, central nervous system and various rare and ultra-rare conditions where imaging plays a critical role in providing information on patient condition and drug efficacy. Your job will be to plan the delivery and think about the next generation DYNAMIKA platform. You will closely work with the Head of Research, clients and research teams who are designing and prototyping algorithms for the imaging data processing; your team will be integrating them into the platform. We often undertake projects where we need to develop and validate protocols and design novel quantitative scoring systems. This requires communication, leadership, experience and out-of-the-box thinking! Often you will be brining state-of-the-art scoring systems together with bespoke scoring systems, machine learning techniques and advanced image analysis protocols into DYNAMIKA platform. We believe that there is a lot of innovation in both building efficient cloud system with reliable workflows for all stakeholders as well as designing and implementing the most advanced algorithms to give reliable answers in clinical trials. As a Lead for the technical team, you will be taking active part in managing clinical trial delivery and working with the Head of Clinical Trials' Operations and clients. You will be seeing each release in use and will be getting real-time feedback from the world's most innovative companies as well as key opinion leaders. You will be an integral part of helping to get the best quality data and improve efficiency of everyone participating in the trial. We want to find someone who comes with experience but willing to continuously learn and adapt to help us creating the most powerful and efficient system in clinical research industry, which would become the state-of-the-art! Requirements: Experience in software planning and budgeting to ensure on time delivery of DYNAMIKA platformAbility to solve complex architecture design and project development problemsMake the optimal choices on the use of technologies such as Java, Javascript, Spring and Hibernate, JIRA / Bitbucket, Jenkins, Agile / Sprint, Tomcat, Postgress, JAVASCRIPT frameworks (Angular)Close work with Head of Trial Operations to ensure on time delivery of technical projects for our customers and improvising customer experienceBe able to evaluate, specify and realize proof of concept projectsHands-on Quality Management System management - ISO13485, FDA510k and CE mark compliance (21 CFR part 11 and other is a plus You will report to CEO as a part of Management Meetings and often directly work with our clients.
