Apply now Inside Out Purchasing & Supply has been engaged to recruit a Procurement Manager for a leading Food company based in Kent Overall Purpose of the Role: * Manage and direct the sourcing and negotiation of the group supply to agreed standards of quality, service and price with respect to product, packaging and categories. * Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements, plus examine and test existing contracts to ensure compliance against legislation * Ensure that the procurement strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market * Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities * Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs * Take ownership of the procurement policy, guidelines and any associated documents * Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes * Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality * Implement a customer focused Procurement culture delivering world class customer service levels * Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided * Process payments and invoices
