Due to significant order growth my client is now recruiting for a Principal Project Leader.Job DescriptionMy client now seeks a talented individual to contribute to internationally renowned work on established and emerging Non Destructive Technology (NDT) processes, techniques and procedures. The individual will enjoy responsibility for and rapidly gain experience in NDT R&D. He or she will strengthen the core skills of an exciting and innovative team by taking on responsibilities.Duties* Project management, preparation and negotiation of contract proposals * Providing advice to member companies on NDT inspections* Development of inspection techniques and procedures * Delivery of site inspection services and preparation of reports* Mentoring, guidance and support to NSIRC postgraduate industrial research projects* Participation at technology advisory panels relating to structural integrity for NSIRCSkills* Good team and networking abilities* Demonstrable initiative and self-motivation, strong verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent academic background (i.e. a relevant degree, e.g. physics, mechanical, electrical / electronic or materials engineering) * NDT inspection qualifications (e.g. ISO 9712) and industrial experience.This role requires regular travel within the UK and occasionally overseas according to the demands of project work.
