Apply now Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting a Payroll Officer for a large housing developer in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with relevant experience to join an organisation going through rapid change and to further their career in finance with a real CV-enhancing role. The key responsibilities of the role will be to:*Lead and managing the smooth transition of the existing payroll system from an outside agent to an in-house provision including implementation of new processes and procedures.*Set up, manage, and control the move to the new payroll model.*Manage and execute 4 separate payrolls across multiple pay dates.*Assist the payroll administrator in completion of the admin of the payroll, the payroll run, reports and third-party payments following the in house transition.*Ensure accurate processing of employee pay, HMRC payments and lead on the monthly pension returns to the Social Housing Pension Scheme.The successful candidate will have some experience of migrating a payroll system. Proficiency in Excel is essential, as well as an ability to communicate effectively at a professional level. Knowledge of at least one standard payroll system will also be crucial.
