Apply now Our client is one of the UK's leading commercial vehicle dealerships and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of HGV / Auto Parts Advisor (with eBay and /or online skills) to work in the parts team at our clients Birmingham branch. The Role: Reporting to the Parts Manager you will be responsible for processing customer enquiries, orders, quotations and selling commercial vehicle parts to fleet operators throughout the Midlands region. The successful candidate will also be required to undertake online sales and marketing work using eBay to promote sales. You will be required Duties will include but are not limited to the following: - Process incoming customer orders and enquiriesSourcing and ordering products/parts from suppliers and pricing for profitable salesNotify customers of any order shortfalls and ensure to follow items are delivered in a timely mannerEnsuring effective communication with customers regards their order delivery statusEffective online marketing of parts and associated image. Candidate: The successful applicant will have previous automotive industry and preferably parts experience and you will have effective written and verbal communication skills . Candidates will demonstrate good negotiation skills and you will have excellent IT knowledge including MS Office and eBay platform. Applicants with previous Kerridge and or ADP skills is desired. Hours of work: Monday to Friday either 8am - 5pm OR 9am - 6pm Benefits: 30 days annual leave Pension Life Insurance
