Apply now We are currently recruiting for the position of Operations Manager to join a dynamic and fast-paced business which has experienced substantial growth in the last few years, having built strong relationships with leading construction firms, architects, developers and electrical subcontractors. As Operations Manager you will be responsible for developing initiatives for continuous business process improvements. You must work to ensure that the business process outcomes are in harmony with the organisations strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible primarily for the oversight of all planning, directingand co-ordinating of the company's operations. As the company has rapidly grown, so hasthe workload. Therefore, you will have extensive experience in high level operationsmanagement! Key Responsibilities: Implementation of efficient communication between departmentsEnsuring business goals are met by helping to deliver the business strategy plan alongside the operations teamCreate mapping for all companies within the groupSuggest new policies working alongside the Head of Legal to formulate new company policiesPresent monthly updates to Group Operations Director recommending new company policiesPresent analytics to support any policies that need to be introduced to the businessEnsure the success of the company strategic plansReview in-house IT systems to ensure they meet the demands of the businessBe a strong support network for heads of departments to ensure that business projects are completed efficiently and productivelyAnalysing various reporting systemsProject Management, ensuring all tasks are delegated effectively and completed in a timely mannerInfluencing various team members to consistently achieve department KPI'sResearching and communicating new ideas in the current workplace and implementing change efficientlyCreate an inventory record and asset listCreate security plan for the businessOversee auditing across the businessPresent findings on special projects and break even reportsCreate an analysis on how much logistics costs the businessSupport the business in making more commercial decisions Person Specific: At least 5 years' experience within a similar positionAbility to liaise positively and professionally with colleaguesExperience in critical thinking and problem-solving skills & excellent attention to detailExtensively organised with the ability to prioritise where necessary and multi-taskExperience in forward planning and working to deadlines in a busy environmentConfidence and experience in delegating to staffKnowledge of project management principles and practicesGood understanding of administrative procedures, systems and officeCompetent knowledge of Microsoft Office Salary: £45k-£50k Please note due to the number of applications we often receive, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
