We manufacture and sell a unique team communication solution that enables retail clients to provide the very best in customer service and business efficiency. Our customers include some of the biggest names in UK and European retail such as Tesco, Wickes, Halfords, Homebase and Bauhaus. This new role is all about managing our growth. You'll be responsible for manufacturing, implementation, customer support in fact almost everything other than sales, marketing, product development and finance! If you're looking for a role where you can play a huge part in shaping and growing a dynamic business, then this is the job for you The role: This is a key position within the management teamYou will be required to manage and lead production, implementation and service teams.Constantly review working practices to establish if the current ways of working are delivering the desired results and if not, devise and implement an improved way of workingMake sure all operations comply with local, National and European regulationsMaintain and support good business relationships with all business partners, suppliers, team members and customersOversee the recruitment, selection and training of new team membersManage a robust and effective complaints and customer satisfaction process to highlight and promptly resolve any issuesDesign, develop and deliver management reportsEnsure the company retains it's ISO accreditations by ensuring tha trequired processes and procedures are followed during daily operationsEnsure appropriate H&S processes and procedures are in place to guarantee that all employees/contractors are fully compliant and operate in an approved and safe mannerPutting in place the systems and processes to manage the trebling in size of the business. Key requirements Reporting directly to the CEOThe successful candidate will be aknowledgeable and experienced Operations leader with experience of being hands on with day-to-day responsibilities, while at the same time supporting the business strategicallyYou will ideally be Degree educatedA natural leader and commercially astuteYour exemplary skill set will include managing people, project management, quality control, attention to detail and financePrevious experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technology environment is preferredPossess excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to liaise with clients at a senior/board levelAbility to grasp technical solutions is a mustSome UK and overseas travel may be required
