Apply now A growing family owned manufacturing business in Halesworth are looking to appoint an experienced, and ideally AAT qualified, Assistant Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a well rounded role in a small but busy Finance team which will see you take full responsibility for a wide array of Accounts functions, including but not limited to: Responsibilities: Monthly PayrollManagement Accounts (including prepayments & accruals)Balance Sheet ReconciliationsManagement of the Sales Ledger & Purchase LedgersProfit & Loss ReportingYear End ReportingVAT ReturnsCard & Invoice ProcessingCashflow ForecastingMaintainence of the Fixed Asset Register Qualifications / Experience: Previous experience in a similar Accounts positionAAT qualified, or studying towards (not essential)Good Excel skills (intermediate)Confident communicator & self motivatedAble to work well as part of a team What you get: A very competitive salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 (dependant on experience)An attractive benefits package, which includes pension, flexitime and holiday allowanceExcellent career development and career progression opportunities If you have the skills & experience required and would like to be considered for this position, please submit a copy of your CV straight away.
