Apply on employer's website This is a 12-18 month fixed term contract position with a salary of up to GBP 52,000 per annum. We are looking to appoint a Non-functional Business Analyst to help NEST develop its Solution Archictecture and Data Staging requirements. The Solution Architecture workstream is responsible for defining a a blueprint for our 'to-be' solution. NEST needs to decide how much of the solution architecture it wants to impose on its future suppliers, as well as the necessary level of detail needed to ensure it has a properly flexible technical platform that operates at low cost. The Requirements team is made up of three workstreams teams, each responsible for a broad set of requirements: Non-functional- Solution architecture; Data staging & migration requirements Functional - Business requirements Service Management- SLAs Key skills and experienceThe employee will be able to demonstrate the following experience and technical skills: Practical experience of solution design Practical experience of using cloud based technology and PaaS Experience of defining requirements for service based contracts. Some experience of embedding security requirements into infrastructure and applications Using various design tools. Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to critically analyse issues, consider options and develop recommendations based on solid reasoning Demonstrable evidence of delivering creative solutions to complex problems Familiarity and confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Personal attributes requiredThe role will require someone with the following personal attributes: Will be precise, meticulous and thorough. Will be able to work collaboratively with other members Willingness to work with others, good teamwork, and good communication skills The ability to cope with multiple tasks/projects Strong people-management and supplier-management skills Strong relationship skills and the ability to effectively harness a mixture of resources in NEST and at vendors.
